The second year of the John Smith Centre Parliamentary Internship Programme is underway. The Centre has recruited 14 undergraduate students from across the School and the College of Social Sciences and placed them with host MSPs from across Central Scotland. The interns will spend one day a week for 10 weeks with their host, in both the constituency and the Parliament, and will be able to gain first-hand experience of public service roles.

The JSC interns are paid above the living wage for this work experience and their placements, will be recognised on their official University transcript upon graduation.

Find out more about the interns on the JSC website and keep up with the latest news by following #JSCinterns on instagram and twitter.
