SCCJR Celebrates 10-Year Anniversary With Free Lecture On Rethinking Punishment In An Age Of Mass Mobility

Professor Mary Bosworth of the University of Oxford will deliver this year's Scottish Centre for Crime and Justice Research annual lecture, on Rethinking punishment in an age of mass mobility: administrative power in immigration detention. The lecture will take place at the University of Glasgow's Western Infirmary Lecture Theatre on September 9th.
The SCCJR is celebrating its 10-year anniversary in 2016, and to mark the occasion is delighted to welcome Professor Mary Bosworth to deliver a highly topical annual lecture on Friday, September 9th at 5.30pm. Prof Bosworth is director of Border Criminologies, an interdisciplinary research group focusing on the intersections between criminal justice and border control.
