Oona Brooks wins Corinna Seith Prize

Oona Brooks has been awarded the Corinna Seith Prize for a paper she published in the British Journal of Criminology. Oona will present her paper and receive her award at the Women Against Violence Europe annual conference in Sofia, Bulgaria in October 2013.
Oona Brooks has been awarded the Corinna Seith Prize for a paper she published in the British Journal of Criminology titled ‘'Guys! Stop doing it!': Young women's adoption and rejection of safety advice when socializing in bars, pubs and clubs’. This prize was awarded by Women Against Violence Europe (WAVE) to honor the memory of Corinna Seith, a feminist researcher working in the field of violence against women. Oona will present her paper and receive her award at the WAVE annual conference in Sofia, Bulgaria in October 2013.
