The School congratulates Professor Neil Rollings and Dr Andrew Smith on their achievements.
Professor Neil Rollings has been awarded the Mira Wilkins Prize for 2012 for his article "Multinational Enterprise and Government Controls on Outward Foreign Direct Investment in the United States and the United Kingdom in the 1960s", Enterprise & Society 12 (June 2011): 398-434.
The Mira Wilkins prize is for the best article published annually in Enterprise & Society relating to international and comparative business history. The prize was presented at the recent 2012 Business History Conference in Philadelphia by Professor Geoffrey Jones (Harvard Business School).
Dr Andrew Smith won the British Sociological Association / Sage Prize for Innovation/Excellence 2012 for his article "Concrete freedom' : C.L.R. James on culture and black politics" published in the December 2011 issue of Cultural Sociology.
The School congratulates both colleagues on their achievements.
