Dumfries Community Choir
When: Tuesday Evenings
Where: 50 George St, Dumfries DG1 1EJ
What: Come and join us whilst we sing an array of different music ranging from britpop classics to rock and roll. We are always free to students.

Dumfries Musical Theatre Company
When: Tuesday and Thursday Evenings
Where: The Brigend Theatre, Market Square, Dumfries, DG2 7AE
What: Dumfries Musical Theatre Company (DMTC) are a friendly group made up of members from all over and around Dumfries who all share a passion for musical theatre. They perform two shows a year, usually at the end of April and at the end of November and rehearse and perform in the lovely Brigend Theatre. A warm welcome awaits new members of all ages. If you can sing, dance or act, or have an interest in props, costumes or set design then they would love to hear from you!

Royal Scottish Country Dance Society
When: Monday Afternoons and Tuesday Evenings
Where: Locharbriggs Community Centre, Auchencrieff Road, Locharbriggs, Dumfries, DG1 1UZ
What: Having fun, making friends and keeping fit are just some of the many benefits you can look forward to when you Dance Scottish and we are always looking for opportunities to involve new dancers.
You don’t have to wear tartan or a kilt (though you can if you like); you don’t need special footwear (comfortable flat shoes are fine); and you don’t have to bring a partner (Scottish Country Dance involves dancing with different partners).
So, why not give it a try? Whatever your age or ability, you will soon feel part of our dancing community.
