Research interests
Dr. Zhou combines classic psychophysical methods, cutting-edge virtual reality technologies and computational modelling to study human perception and action in social contexts. He is especially interested in modelling human social behaviour and translating the findings into algorithms that can be directly used in intelligent virtual agents and social robot platforms. He has rich experience in developing virtual reality programs with Unreal Engine and conducting behavioural experiments with robot platforms.
