Fellowship Opportunities

We aim to attract and retain the very best researchers in the field.

We have previously been successful in supporting a limited number of strong candidates in applying for STFC Advanced and Postdoctoral, RSE, RS, Marie Curie and EPSRC Research Fellowships.  Information about the various types of Fellowship, the application procedure and closing dates, can be found via the following links:

  • STFC Fellowships

This scheme is for outstanding scientists who are in the early stages of their research career and have the potential to become leaders in their field. The scheme offers you the opportunity to build an independent research career, focus on your own research with a limit on administrative and teaching duties, and hold your fellowship on a part-time basis to suit personal circumstances.
  • Royal Society Dorothy Hodgkin Fellowships
Scheme expected to open for Applications September 2019.
This scheme offers a recognised first step into an independent research career for outstanding scientists and engineers at an early stage of their research career who require a flexible working pattern due to personal circumstances.
