Class Reps
At the beginning of each session or semester (as appropriate), each UG course elects a Class Rep to solicit and pass on the views of their fellow students to the School via a minimum of 2 Student Staff Liaison Committees per session. The views can cover a range of issues such as course content, teaching and resources.
The Class Reps are the first point of contact for students who have a problem or suggestion and play an important part in ensuring the students have a voice.
On a personal level, becoming a Class Rep can enhance skills in areas such as communication, liaison and working with others. Recognition of the role of Class Rep will be recorded on each student's transcript (HEAR) and can be seen as an enhancement to graduate employability.
