Registration Procedure
Registration is required for all users irrespective of which microscope, computer or service they wish to utilise. Only on completion of your training will approval be given to gain access to the booking calendar to operate the instrument independently.
DO NOT USE ANOTHER OPERATOR'S REGISTRATION LOG IN DETAILS TO BOOK TIME TO OPERATE THE MICROSCOPE INSTRUMENTS.
Cellular Analysis Facility.
Registration for use of all equipment within the new Cellular Analysis facility can be completed on-line. To gain access to the online booking calender please email mvls-srf@glasgow.ac.uk /Anthony Dornan who will then send out an invite to join the BookMyLab booking calendar. Once your on-line registration has been received they will directly contact you to organise your training.
Leica SP8 confocal microscope.
Online booking registration to use the Leica SP8 confocal based in the Bower building can be obtained by emailing Professor Michael Blatt: Michael.Blatt@glasgow.ac.uk, who will send you out an invite to arrange user training along with the details explaining how to join the booking calendar, (www.psrg.org.uk). Training is available for PhD students and staff only.
Only approved trained users will be able to gain access to the booking calendar.
Prof. Ilan Davies Group Fluorescence Microscopes.
Professor Ilan Davies has range of fluorescent microscopes including the latest LEICA STELLARIS 8 FALCON LIGHTNING confocal microscope which can perform fluorescence lifetime (inc FRET) and super-resolution imaging. Visit here to find out about their novel fluorescence research work.

ARC Prof. Graeme Milligan Fluorescence microscopes (epifluorescence, aperture correlation structured illumination) and plate readers (fluorescence/luminescence (inc BRET).
A range of fluorescence microscopes (epifluorescence & aperture correlation structured illumination) & plate readers (end point & kinetic assays) are based within Prof. Graeme Milligan's research group in the ARC building. For more information about their specification access the links below:
