Information for refugees and asylum seekers

The University of Glasgow offers a limited number of fee-waived Pre-Sessional course places to those from a forced migration background. The EAS Sanctuary Programme will cover the costs of a 5 or 10-week Pre-Sessional courses to help students prepare for future study at the University of Glasgow.

The 10-week course will suit those who need some time to develop general academic skills before moving to the disciplinary academic skills.

The 5-week course will be appropriate for those who are ready to develop their academic skills in their chosen disciplines. We offer six options:

  • Accounting and Finance
  • Management
  • Science, Technology, Engineering & Urban Planning
  • Law
  • Social Sciences, Arts & Education
  • Biomedical Sciences
