Biography
Sharon graduated from the University of Glasgow with a degree in Developmental Biology, followed by a PhD in Reproductive Medicine from the MRC Human Reproductive Sciences Unit in Edinburgh.
After spending 7 years as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Manchester, working on infertility, stem cells and cancer, she returned to the University of Glasgow to take up a position as a Senior Lecturer in the School of Medicine, Dentistry and Nursing. She is the Director of MBChB2 in the Undergraduate Medical School. She is also the Chair of the School of Medicine's Equality, Diversity and Inclusion committee.
