Mo graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Oral and Dental Medicine from Cairo in 2016. Following graduation, he worked as a General Dental Practitioner with his practice focused on Restorative Dentistry, particularly Endodontics.

In 2020, he moved to Glasgow, where he earned an MSc in Oral Sciences (Merit) and a clinical master's degree in Endodontology (Distinction). In 2024, he was appointed as a Clinical Lecturer in Endodontology at the University of Glasgow Dental School.

As a Clinical Lecturer in Endodontology, he serves as the Course Coordinator for Undergraduate Endodontics and lectures for the MSc Endodontics program at the University of Glasgow Dental School.

He is a member of Glasgow Endodontology Group (GEG) and British Endodontic Society (BES).
