Research Interests
Dr Robertson has continued to work in the field of clinical dental research since joining the department. The two areas of the work undertaken within Glasgow Dental School and through international collaborations are (1) the relationships between oral and systemic disease including periodontal disease and (2) the treatment and resistance of microbial biofilms in prosthodontics.
Working in the Infection and Immunity research group Dr Robertson is actively involved in collaborative projects with GlaxoSmithKline and other Academic partners to understand the role of the oral microbiome in health and disease.
