Diet and Chronic Disease Translational Research Group
The Diet and Chronic Disease Research Group has pioneered new research methods in a portfolio of research which spans the full spectrum of translational research, including hypothesis generation for observational research, progression from laboratory to clinical trials (Phase 1 Translational), evaluation in community and population settings (Phase 2 Translational), the development of Continuous Improvement Methods to ensure sustainability (Phase 3 Translational) and the epidemiological aspects of dietary intake and health with particular reference to obesity, and intervention studies including weight management, dietary change and physical activity.
