Glasgow Paediatric Research Day 2018

The 2018 Glasgow Paediatric Research Day took place on Friday 9th November, featuring an invited speakers' session on Paediatric Neurosciences, chaired by Dr Iain Horrocks, Consultant Paediatric Neurologist at the Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow.

The programme included 18 oral and 38 poster presentations covering a broad range of research topics across maternal and child health.

Prizes were awarded for best and runner up oral and poster presentations to :

  • Dr Joe Symonds - 1st prize oral presentation
  • Dr Elizabeth Henderson - Runner up prize oral presentation
  • Ismael Israr Ghanty (Medical student) - 1st prize - short oral presentation
  • Dr Shuko Joseph - Runner up prize  short oral presentation
  • Sonya Frazier (PGR student) - 1st prize poster
  • Dr Malika Alimussina (PGR student) - Runner up poster

 

Next year's event will be held on Friday 8th November, 2019.   Details will follow early in the New Year.
