2020 RCPCH Medical Student Prize
Final year MB ChB student, Laura McMurray, was successful in her application for nomination on behalf of the School of Medicine, for the 2020 RCPCH Prize.
2020 Yorkhill Essay Prize
The 2020 Yorkhill Essay prize was awarded to Anna Kamdar, for her essay entitled, "Dental Caries : The Case for Integrated Services"
Runner up prize was awarded to Ingrid Lee for her essay entitled, "Childhood leukaemia: A Preventable Cancer"

1st prize and Yorkhill Medal awarded to Mikaela Frixou
2nd prize awarded to Laura McMurray

2020 Hall Prize awarded to Loubna Kraria
Postgraduate Prizes
2020 Harry Stewart Hutchison Prize
Dr Joseph Symonds was awarded the 2020 Harry Stewart Hutchison Prize for his paper entitled, "Neuronal antibody prevalence in children with seizures <3 years : a prospective national cohort", accepted for publication by Neurology.
2020 Yorkhill Postgraduate Research Prize
Four seperate prizes were awarded for the 2020 Yorkhill Postgraduate Research Prize :
Konstantina Zafeiropoulou, for her paper entitled, "Alterations in intestinal microbiota in children with Celiac disease at time of diagnosis and on a gluten-free diet" accepted for publication by Gastroenterology.
Yulia Anopa, for her paper entitled, "Systematic review of economic evaluations of primary caries prevention in 2 - 5 year old pre-school children" published in ScienceDirect.
Dr Salma Ali, for her paper entitled, "Real World Estimates of Adrenal Insufficiency Related Adverse Effects in Children With Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia" accepted for publication by The Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism.
Dr Frederick Ho, for his paper entitled, "Child maltreatment and cardiovascular disease: quantifying mediation pathways using UK Biobank" published in BMC Medicine.
