100% Satisfaction in National Student Survey for a Fourth Consecutive Year

In the 2014 National Student Survey, Glasgow Dental School has scored 100% for overall student satisfaction for the fourth year in a row, with the highest rating of any Dentistry course in the UK
In the 2014 National Student Survey, Glasgow Dental School has scored 100% for overall student satisfaction. The results of the survey of final year students marks the fourth consecutive year of scoring 100%, after receiving the same score in the 2011, 2012, and 2013 surveys.
Glasgow’s was the top- ranked Dentistry programme in the UK for overall satisfaction in the 2014 survey.. Students also rated our course very highly on provision of learning resources, availability of advice and support, clear marking criteria, and helping our students present themselves with confidence. Satisfaction scores were over 90% for every question, with the vast majority questions measuring between 95% and 100% satisfaction.
Professor Vincent Bissell, Deputy Head of the Dental School, said of the result “This is an outstanding result for us, yet again, reflecting the excellent learning experience our undergraduate students enjoy. It is particularly gratifying to see such high levels of satisfaction in relation to assessment and feedback, an area we have put a lot of work into in recent years”
The results of the National Student Survey will be made publicly available via Unistats.com from 28 August 2014.
