Prof Mary Ann Lumsden and Mrs Alison Spurway have been recognised in the 2017 New Year's Honours List.

Congratulations to Professor Mary Ann Lumsden who has been awarded an OBE for Services to Women's Health in the 2017 New Year Honours List. Professor Lumsden is Professor of Gynaecology and Medical Education and Clinical lead of the Academic Unit of Reproductive and Maternal Medicine at the University of Glasgow.

Professor Lumsden is Professor of Gynaecology and Medical Education and Clinical lead of the Academic Unit of Reproductive and Maternal Medicine at the University of Glasgow.
The School was also delighted to note that Mrs Alison Spurway has been awarded an OBE for her services to Girlguiding and charity. Mrs Spurway was Secretary to the old Faculty of Medicine, before later moving to the Senate Office. She retired in 2005.
