Version Control for Teaching and Research

Version control via Git and GitHub is an important part of both research and teaching within Statistics and Data Science. Researchers from within the school have been developing a new course designed to teach staff and students how to use version control effectively. Research is underway to look at how this course impacts student learning, as well as how it helps researchers to produce reproducible and open access code for their research.
