Top UK scientists join politicians for a week in Westminster
As reported in the December edition of the School newsletter Dr Liberty Vittert was due to visit Westminster, from Monday 28th November to Thursday 1st December 2016, as part of a unique pairing scheme run by the Royal Society.
Liberty has been paired with Patrick Grady, MP for Glasgow North and said the following about her week in Westminster:
“I had an absolutely amazing and eye-opening time. Patrick could not have been more wonderful and inclusive. I learned so much about the government system. I would recommend absolutely anyone to do this scheme and look forward to his visit to our School in the late spring!”
