The second away day took place on Friday 29th May in Blythswood Square Hotel.  The away days were extremely well received by all students providing the chance for students in years 3 to 5 of this degree programme to network with one another, previous students and employers.  As part of the away days students also received training from the careers service: Stephen Shilton and Katrina Gardner including Myers-Brigg training, communication and team building.

New publicity material is also available for this degree programme with a dedicated webpage at: http://www.gla.ac.uk/schools/mathematicsstatistics/undergraduate/msciwp/

This was part of the project funded by the University call for ‘Funding to support the development of work based learning in 2014’ with Claire Miller as PI, and also involving Marian Scott, Ludger Evers and Mitchum Bock.
