In this month's edition there is, as ever, a very striking list of successes and activities from around the School, which I'm sure you will enjoy reading. The Spotlight interview is with Jean Jackson, who talks a little about some of her roles within our School Office. The variety of issues the School deals with, and the range of activity our staff and students are involved in, is always very impressive. The interview with Jean underlines that.

As we go to press, it has just been announced that Prof. Ian Strachan is to be our next Head of School, taking over on August 1st. Congratulations to Ian! On behalf of the whole School, I would like to wish Ian every success in his new role.
