Abstract
Following the seminal work of Williams on subshifts, Muhly-Pask-Tomforde consider strong shift equivalence for regular C*-correspondences. By introducing the bipartite inflation they show that strong shift equivalent regular C*-correspondences admit strong Morita equivalent Cuntz-Pimsner algebras. In this talk we will show how a similar theory can be produced for shift equivalence. We then use minimal bimodule dilations to answer questions raised by Muhly-Pask-Tomforde. This is joint work with Elais Katsoulis (JFA, 2014).
