An application of L^2 homology to symplectic geometry

Abstract
L^2 homology was introduced by Atiyah, Cheeger and Gromov to make sense of the Betti numbers of the total space of a cover with infinite deck transformations group. In this talk I will show it can be used to constrain the fundamental group of a family of Lagrangian cobordisms.
