A non-standard complex structure on R^4 of Calabi-Eckmann type

Abstract
The aim of this talk is to show that R4 admits an integrable complex structure that contains closed embedded holomorphic tori. It turns out that this complex structure cannot be tamed by a symplectic structure, and in particular is not Kähler. The construction makes use of an achiral Lefschetz fibration on the 4-sphere that is due to Matsumoto and Fukaya.
