Friday 4th June, 2010 16:00-17:00 Mathematics Building, room 515
Abstract
I shall give a physiological description of blood flow in systemic and pulmonary arteries and will discuss some of the structural and fluid dynamical aspects of the circulatory system. The physiological description may then be extended to form the basis for a mathematical model to predict pressure and flow in the arterial tree.
