Cobordism invariants of mutual position of manifolds and applications

Abstract
I plan to discuss how to describe invariants of mutual positions of compact manifolds and explain how corresponding explicit formulae find their way into some problems of geometry (Pick's Theorem) and mathematical physics (Miraculous Cancellation formula).
