Abstract

Quantum Groups are classical algebraic objects that come up naturally in the theory of quantum integrable systems. In this talk, I will first survey how Ringel-Hall algebras and their cohomological/K-theoretic cousins provide a way to realize Quantum groups geometrically and give a way to define new Quantum groups. In particular, I will explain how one obtains an integral form of affine Yangian in a specific case of cyclic quivers. If time permits, I will explain how one can modify these constructions to get a super analog of quantum groups.
