Glasgow Computational Engineering Centre (GCEC): An overview and ideas for collaborations.

Abstract
In this seminar we will present the GCEC at James Watt School of Engineering. As examples, we will present some recent research projects and some of the tool that we are developing in the centre. For example, Prof. Kaczmarczyk and Dr. Shvarts will present the capabilities of the open-source code called MOFEM. Prof. Georgiev will present his group DeepNano and some of the research activities in the group. We will focus particularly on the industrialisation of research through software development for computer-aided design, with applications in device modelling, structural integrity, and manufacturing.
The main aim of the seminar is to establish strong links and common research projects between School of Engineering and School of Mathematics.
