Abstract

The structure of Frobenius manifolds appears in many different contexts and provides a bridge between them. In this talk, I will present a specific instance of such connections: the quantum cohomology of ADE resolutions and Frobenius structures on orbit spaces of extended affine Weyl groups are found to be related through the concept of almost duality. I will explain how this connection is equivalent to a mirror symmetry description for the ADE resolutions. If time permits, I will also describe one future application in Gromov-Witten theory. This is based on joint work with Andrea Brini and Ian Strachan
