Abstract
Determinantal semi-invariants are a special class of regular functions defined on the varieties of modules of fixed-dimension vector over a finite-dimensional algebra. In this talk, we will recall their relation to projective presentations and their connection with semistable subcategories of modules. We will recall the notion of thick subcategory within the extriangulated category of 2-term complexes and show how determinantal semi-invariants give rise to a certain class of thick subcategories. Finally, we will introduce an extriangulated version of the correspondences among support tau-tilting objects, torsion classes, and wide subcategories.
