Amenability and approximation properties of C*-dynamical systems

Abstract
In this talk I will discuss some basic notions of amenable actions of groups on C*-algebras and present some new developments into this direction.
These are certain approximation properties that are closely related to (relative) nuclearity of the corresponding crossed products.
The actions involved here could be partial (i.e. by partial isomorphisms) or even by partial imprimitivity bimodules, that is,
they could be described in general by Fell bundles. All good notions of amenability imply coincidence of full and reduced crossed products (i.e. the weak containment property) and in certain cases the converse holds.
This is based on joint works with Fernando Abadie, Damian Ferraro, Siegfried Echterhoff and Rufus Willett.
