Abstract

We started this project by asking ourselves the question: is the Toeplitz algebra of a directed graph and its gauge action enough information to recover the underlying directed graph? In this talk I will explain why the answer is no. But I will also say exactly what extra information is needed to recover the graph. This is joint work with Marcelo Laca, Dave Robertson, and Aidan Sims.
