Relationships between Heegaard Floer homologies (and quivers)

Abstract

“Adjective” Heegaard Floer homology is a package of invariants for “adjective” 3-manifolds (often also associated 4-manifolds). I have shown a relationship between one of the newer members of the family (adjective = “bordered”) and a much older construction (“adjective” = “endowed-with-a-link”). In a bid to make you care about my result, I will discuss the relevant constructions assuming minimal-to-no-background in the area. Time permitting, I will discuss a work-in-progress framework which seems to rephrase my result in a much more efficient way, in terms of quiver representations.
