Abstract
In this talk I will speak about finite dimensional semisimple Hopf algebras.
The understanding of such algebras was massively improved over the last two decades. We have many examples, and classification results in many dimensions. The general classification, however, is still widely open.
In this talk I will explain how one can use geometric invariant theory to study finite dimensional Hopf algebras. I will describe a complete set of invariants and explain how these can be applied to prove the finiteness of the number of Hopf orders of a given Hopf algebra.
