Conference Day (26th November)
Format of Day
Those competitors who have the best performing methods (3 for each model, 9 in total), will be invited to give an oral presentation of their method and results at the Conference Day.
In addition to this, there will also be a timeslot reserved for promoting discussion and collaboration between the participants. Attendees-only are able to and encouraged to bring posters of their research, in order to maximise the benefit of this timeslot.
Research invloving systems described by differential equations is naturally multidisciplinary and Cside welcomes attendance from any subject background.
Teas, coffees and lunch will be provided. Please indicate your dietary requirements when registering for the conference day.

Recording
Speakers have the opportunity for their oral presentation to be recorded using our Echo 360 facilities. This allows the speakers to further disseminate their work.
Venue
The conference day is hosted at the University of Glasgow, in the School of Mathematics and Statistics. Attendees travelling from outside Glasgow could get a train to Glasgow Central Station or Queen Street Station or, alternatively, a plane to Glasgow airport and bus to the City Centre/West End of Glasgow.
There are various forms of public transport to the West End of Glasgow from the City Centre, including
- First for Glasgow buses 4 and 4A
- Glasgow Citybus West Coast Motors 15
- Subway (closest stop is Hillhead, about a 5 minute walk from the venue)
