Q: If I study Common Law, where can I practise as a lawyer?
Where you qualify to practise as a lawyer will depend on where you undertake your professional training and examinations. The Common Law LLB provides the academic foundation for practising law in a wide variety of jurisdictions including England & Wales, Northern Ireland, Eire, the United States, Canada, India and Singapore.
*If you intend to practise law in Scotland, you should apply for the Scots Law LLB. The Common Law LLB does not provide the most appropriate pathway for legal practice in Scotland.*
