Dr Obiora Ezike

Biography
Dr Obiora Ezike joined the School of Law as a Lecturer in Commercial Law in January 2022, having previously held a Lectureship in Law at Coventry University. He obtained his LLB from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, and his LLM in Corporate and Financial Law (with distinction and the overall best student) and PhD both from the University of Glasgow. His PhD (College of Social Sciences Scholarship) examined the Financial Collateral Arrangement Directive, from a comparative perspective.
Obiora is also a licensed Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria South Africa and has practised in the areas of commercial and insolvency law.
Obiora is a member of the Society of Legal Scholars, Corporate and Financial Law Research Group at the School of Law, the Commercial Law Research Network Nigeria, and Nigerian Bar Association.
