Dr Chi Zhang

Biography
Dr Chi Zhang holds an LL.B. and Master of Law (Research) from Tsinghua University, and a Ph.D. in Commercial Law from The University of Glasgow.
He joined The University of Glasgow as Lecturer in Commercial Law in 2019. Chi has previously taught business law at China University of Mining and Technology (Beijing) for two years.
Research interests
Chi's research interests are related to corporate Law, business trusts and investment funds law, financial investment law, with a particular focus on Chinese business law. Currently he is working on a project regarding the international financial regulatory dimension of Belt & Road Initiatives, and he is also carrying out research on the internationalization of China’s securities regulation.
