The Just Transition Cluster was recently awarded funding from the Scottish Council of Global Affairs Insight Awards 2023, to carry out much needed research into the conceptual foundations of Just Transition.
The Just Transition Cluster was recently awarded funding from the Scottish Council of Global Affairs Insight Awards 2023, to carry out much needed research into the conceptual foundations of Just Transition. The SCGA is a hub for research and policy-informed, non-partisan debate on international relations and global politics.
The project - 'Mapping Just Transition - from Concept to Practice' - aims to generate debate among academics and policymakers about the implications of an emerging concept of Just Transition. Using the transport sector as a case study, the project will focus on how the emerging concept of Just Transition relates to sustainability and how it differs in shaping environmental and climate policy.
