Congratulations to Professor Irene-marié Esser, who was named as the new College Dean of the Graduate School.
Irene-marié succeeds Professor Duncan Ross, who started as the new Dean of Learning & Teaching in August. She will take up this prestigious post in the Graduate School on 1 October. The School wishes Irene-marié every success in this exciting opportunity.
Irene -marié says:
“I am really looking forward to taking on this new role focusing and building on the work already done regarding PGR excellence, inclusivity and wellbeing. This is a wonderful opportunity for me personally and I hope to use my experience to build on the current principles in place, addressing the challenges as best as I can and make it a worthwhile, supported and excellent experience for all College of Social Sciences PhD students.”
