Supervision

I would be happy to supervise doctoral students wanting to work on aspects of archival theory and practice.  I am especially interested in the ways in which memory and authenticity are viewed in the archive, and how this influences the ways in which archivists work and interact with users.

I currently supervise postgraduate research students with the following projects:

  • Transcription vs. Translation: Facilitating an Archive of Memory
  • Unnatural Archives - Iraqi Archives in the USA
  • Atuma, Kenneth
Record keeping and accountability in the Nigerian public sector: user perspective
  • Watts, Amber Kai
Processing Analog Archives Remotely: Augmenting the Practicum Experience for Underserved Students
