Philosophy of Mind Reading Group
Published: 29 November 2017
This group meets every fortnight at an optimal time for its members.
The purpose of this group is to obtain a wide view about different approaches on Philosophy of Mind. With the question “what’s the nature of our mind” as a departure point, we will discuss current work on the field that addresses this question. Drawing on cognitive science and other philosophical branches, such as epistemology and phenomenology, we will discuss work that integrates different disciplines and methods to the study of the nature of consciousness. Our aim is to contemplate different views on the mind/body debate and to reconsider it from many perspectives.
We welcome Philosophers with different intellectual motivations but also postgraduates from different disciplines with an interest on the nature of consciousness.
