"Digital Codicology: Manuscripts, Access, and LGBTQIA+ Liberation", Dr Bridget Whearty

In celebration of Dr Johanna’s Green's life and work, we invite you to join us for the first Annual Lecture in her honour. Johanna’s expertise as a researcher and teacher in book history and digital humanities, coupled with her unwavering dedication to her students' education and personal growth, made her a beloved figure within our community.

The lecture will take place on 24 April at 5.00pm in the Humanities Lecture Theatre, the University of Glasgow. Dr Bridget Whearty will give the first annual lecture in tribute to Johanna’s remarkable impact on academia and her innovative approach to teaching and scholarship. We aim to honour Johanna’s enduring legacy and the profound influence she had on all who knew her.

As a close colleague and friend of Johanna, Bridget was Johanna's own choice for the first annual lecture. https://www.binghamton.edu/english/faculty/profile.html?id=bwhearty
