Classics Research

We are delighted to report that Sandy Kort, a student on the MSc in Classics and Ancient History, has been awarded a funded place on a Greek Numismatics course run jointly by the British School in Athens and the University of Warwick.

The course lasts two weeks and will take place in Athens. Sandy is a member of the Classics Numismatics Applied Project team which works with Jesper Ericsson at The Hunterian. This year, the group is cataloguing Ancient Greek coins, so this has been the perfect lead-up to Sandy’s opportunity now. She’s agreed to keep us updated when she heads to Athens and to let us know how she gets on!
