University of Glasgow Archaeology Research Seminar Series
In November 2021 the COP26 Meeting will be held in Glasgow. The importance of COP26 creates an opportunity to draw attention to the work done here in Scotland and globally at the intersection of archaeology, heritage, society, climate and the environment. This year the University of Glasgow Archaeology seminar series highlights the diverse contributions of archaeological and heritage researchers through their work relevant to the central concerns of COP26 including: impacts of climate change, human – environment interactions, landscape change, social responses to environmental and climate change, activist scholarship to promote sustainability, and an overarching commitment to social justice. This seminar series aims to engage a broad research and public community with this work.
