The School of Humanities (Archaeology, Celtic & Gaelic, Classics, Information Studies, History and Philosophy) at the University of Glasgow is pleased to invite applications for PhD studentships through its involvement in the AHRC Doctoral Training Partnership Scotland. It is recommended that all applicants contact a member of staff to discuss their application to study and their research proposal.

Please note that:
- Deadlines are very tight: the deadline for all AHRC/College scholarship applications is Monday 7 December 2020, 12 noon. To be considered for an award, candidates must have applied to study at the University of Glasgow and have provided two academic references through the university’s application system.
- Some Subjects might have an internal deadline: it is important that you check with the relevant Research Postgraduate Convener if there is one.
