Registration is now open for the launch event of the AHRC-funded project ‘Bridging the Continental Divide: neo-Latin and its cultural role in Jacobean Scotland’, to be held at the University of Glasgow on Thursday 30 July 2015. As part of the event, University of Glasgow PhD students in Scottish History and History of Art will present a one-day workshop, ‘New Perspectives on Jacobean Scotland.’

The day is free to attend. It is part of series of events being run by the university to commemorate the 450th anniversary of the birth and accession of James VI of Scotland.
