History PhD student awarded Scottish Government internship
Congratulations to Allan Gillies, a History PhD student who has been offered an internship with the Scottish Government, working with the Drug Policy Research Team. The placement, through the Scottish Graduate School of Social Science, starts on 18 August 2014 and runs for three months. Allan is in his final year of studies, and his PhD topic is 'Reducing the Flow of Cocaine into the UK? The politics of counter-drug measures on the Andean transit-chain, 2000-2010'.
