School of Humanities | Sgoil nan Daonnachdan

The School of Humanities has been awarded scholarships for students due to enter its Masters Programmes in September 2014.

There are three categories of scholarships, covering different programmes and categories of students.

The first category of scholarships will cover one year’s full-time fees for Home/EU students, or an award of £5000 towards Overseas’ students’ fees on the following programmes–

• ARCHAEOLOGY
  • MLitt Archaeological Studies
  • MLitt Celtic & Viking Archaeology
  • MSc Landscape: Integrated Research & Practice
  • MLitt Material Culture & Artefact Studies
• CELTIC & GAELIC
  • MLitt Celtic Studies
• HISTORY
  • MLitt American Studies
  • MSc Gender History
  • MLitt History
  • MLitt Early Modern History
  • MLitt Medieval History
  • MLitt Modern History
  • MLitt Scottish History
  • MLitt War Studies
• PHILOSOPHY
  • MLitt Philosophy
  • MSc Philosophy

The second category of scholarships will award £5000 towards Overseas students’ fees on the following programmes–

• INFORMATION STUDIES (HATII)
  • MSc Information Management & Preservation (Digital)/(Archives & Records Management)
  • MSc Museum Studies (Artefacts & Material Culture)
  • MSc Museum Studies (Dress & Textile Histories)
  • MSc Museum Studies (History of Collecting & Collections)
  • MSc Museum Studies (Theory & Practice)

The third category of scholarships will cover one year’s full-time fees for Home/EU students, or an award of £3996 towards Overseas’ students’ fees on the following programmes–

CLASSICS

• MRes Classics
• MPhil Classics

Please also note that you must have submitted an application through the university’s application system by Tuesday 1st July to be considered for a scholarship.
